Footminders® Orthotic Insoles for Foot Pain Relief and Comfort

Footminders® orthotic insoles were developed by a group of podiatrists after years of research to correct posture and body biomechanics by providing longitudinal and metatarsal support. Footminders orthotic insoles greatly reduce over-pronation often caused by flat feet, thus preventing foot strain and injury while providing unmatched walking comfort.

Extensive research has shown that the most common lower body ailments such as aching legs, shin splints, knee pain and lower back pain can be alleviated by wearing a simple, standard orthotic shoe insert. Footminders orthotics help restore the ideal neutral position of the feet and help correct over-pronation providing relief to the most common foot health problems described above.

Over-pronation, the cause of many body aches and pains

"The foot bone is connected to the leg bone,
the leg bone is connected to the hip bone,
the hip bone is connected to the back..."

The old saying is true: medical research in the past 10 years has established a clear link between poor foot function and common conditions such as heel pain, knee pain and low back pain.

Many people suffer from excessive pronation, or rolling inwards of the feet and ankles, and collapsing of the arches (see animation on the left).

In fact, over-pronation affects over 70% of the population. However, this condition doesn't just cause foot pain, it has a profound effect on the rest of our lower body, and many times our back. Over-pronation puts strain on the feet, but also leads to internal rotation of the leg and forward pelvic tilt. In turn, this results in poor body posture and problems such as knee pain and lower back pain.
